ジェシカさんは、中国語・英語・日本語の３か国語を話します。日本の大学で今１年生です。ゲスト・スピーカーの日には、自分のバックグラウンドについて、台湾の話（歴史や観光、ファッッション、流行など）、日本に来て不思議に思ったこと（真冬にミニスカートの高校生の制服、紫色に髪を染める日本のおばぁちゃん）、台湾と日本の学校や大学生活の違いなどについて楽しく話してくださいました。また、簡単な中国語も教えてくださいました。
「日本の学生は、おとなしい。」と言っていたように、もっともっと授業中に色々なことを質問したり、自分から話していくと英語力ももっと伸びていくと思います。ジェシカさんは、「大学生のうちにいい音楽、芸術、本、友達とたくさん触れあって、たくさんの興味を持って色々なことを勉強してください。そして自分が研究していきたいことを見つけてください。」というメッセージを残してくださいました。

Hello! My name is Jessica I. I feel a kind of "difficult" to introduce myself... but I will try.
2001 summer, after graduating from a university in Taiwan I came here starting my life with my mom and her 2nd husband who is a Japanese. I went to a Japanese language school for 18 months. During this period of time, I was hesitating about what I want to do in the future. If I want to stay here longer, I have to go to school or find a job. Can I think about another "4 years" at school? I was so conflicted then.
Now? I am majoring Management at T University, and 100% a freshman! Yes! I determined to stay and even try to find a job here in the future. It will be an advantage for me as a trilingual speaker. Since I have been studying English for more than 10 years, now I want to master Japanese. My personal experience told me that it is easier to master a language in its native language!!!
