The 80th Anniversary of Tamagawa University

The 20th Commemorative Workshop on Microbial Resources

From OMICS to phenotypes for application

We have held this workshop twice a year since the year of 2000.  The keyword of the workshop is microbial resources for application.  We provide opportunities of information exchange, collaboration and business chances for scientists and managers of R&D in industry.  The presentations are not something like in scientific conference, but something from speakersf dream, unofficial statements, failure of experiments, results without data, etc.  This workshop does not publish or open the contents of presentations.  So far the workshop is very well received by industrial people.  In fact, there has been success in business agreement and scientific collaboration based on the workshop in the past.

The forthcoming workshop will feature mainly secondary metabolism of microbes, OMICS, biosynthetic genes, taxonomy, fermentation, phenotypes, and pharmaceuticals.  Please do not miss the opportunity of this 2-days workshop.
