This workshop is the second to follow
from a new collaborative research and education program recently established
between Tamagawa University Brain Science Institute and the Brain, Mind
and Society program at the California Institute of Technology. The purpose of
the workshop is to bring together about 20-25 leading scientists who are
at the cutting edge of the emerging new fields of neuroeconomics and social
neuroscience, in order to foster discussion between researchers from
diverse backgrounds as well as to provide an introduction to the field for
junior scientists from Japan and elsewhere in the world who will be able
to apply to participate as attendees in the workshop.
