On Tuesday, January 7 and Wednesday, January 8, 2020, a Research Forum Faculty Development seminar was held at the Center for English as a Lingua Franca (CELF).

Associate Professor Brett Milliner (Left) and Assistant Professor Blagoja (Bill) Dimoski (Right) from CELF presented on the topic of “Explicit listening strategy training for lower-proficiency learners: Is it worthwhile?”

Adjunct Professor Drew Larson (Left) (CELF) shared his research on “Video-based learning exercises for the classroom.” While Adjunct Professor Martin Wrobel (Right) (CELF) presented on the subject of “Ethical Issues regarding usage of Machine Translation in the setting of Japanese University.”
